My favorite book character as a child was the Pokey Little Puppy for when I was VERY young, remember those Little Golden Books? When I was a little older I used to love Jessi Ramsey from The Baby-Sitter's Club, although she was not Latina, I was able to relate to her the most during my awkward tween years.

I had so many favourite books, that I don't know how I could ever pick just one favourite childhood character… Hmmm… I loved Ramona Quimby, Anastasia Krumpnik, Anne Shirley, Heidi, but… I would have to say that Laura Ingalls Wilder was the ultimate. I wanted to be a homesteading, farm girl and wore those pig-tails for almost two years! LOL!

Anne of Green Gables, I would read the stories for hours. Not sure why exactly but always thought it would be neat to be her.
My favorite childhood character is Linnet from the book titled Linnet.
My favorite characters were Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. I just could not get enough of them. I loved the way that they were able to solve all of those mysteries.
