Sunday May 20 was the first day of the Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) Top Blogger Retreat. I started the day, along with a few other fashion bloggers, getting a fabulous Mary Kay makeover. We were treated to makeup, hair, and awesome clothes! Then we were taken around Washington D.C. for a photo shoot. It was so exciting, but a little different for me. I guess I’m not used to being pampered like that. LOL! I’ll write a separate post about that when I get the photos.
After our shoot, we headed back to the hotel for the opening reception. I swear it was like a family reunion! I always look forward to seeing my fellow blogueras. There’s just something about spending time with women who have the same passion as you do. Let’s just say there were a lot of hugs! A big thank you to those who worked so hard behind the scenes!! You are appreciated!!
