If there’s one thing this past holiday weekend has proven to me, it’s that the sun is out and ready to burn us! Here in Southern California, we had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend and it was definitely pool and beach weather.
Now, I’m a huge advocate of wearing sunscreen, the higher the SPF, the better. And if you and your little ones are going out into the sun, in any season, you should definitely put on sunscreen. And what’s even more important is reapplying it.
According to Neutrogena, a recent survey revealed that more than 70 percent of people do not reapply sunscreen when they are outdoors for long periods of time, even though doctors recommend it. Professional organizations also continue to urge regular reapplication of sunscreen to prevent sunburn. In fact, The Skin Cancer Foundation advises, “Reapplication of sunscreen is just as important as putting it on in the first place, so reapply the same amount every two hours.”

Going to the beach!
We love to hang out in our backyard. The kids normally play with their water guns, but were about to invest in a waterslide or slipnslide. Not sure yet..lol. We also love to go to waterparks…
I enjoy bike rides and swimming in the pool. I also ALWAYS wear sunscreen when playing outdoors with the kiddos at the orphanage in Mexico – that sun is brutal I tell ya!

WE go on picnics, trips to the zoo, street festivals, hiking, and the sprinklers in the park.
I love to spend my time outdoors as much as possible. I have 2 very active young boys who bike ride, swim and play in their castle in the backyard. I always make sure they are protected with SPF. I would love to win it would make our summer complete
