I don’t know about you, but it seems like all things like to go wrong when it’s hot out! The summer is always full of some of the most embarrassing beauty disasters out there. I seriously think anything can and will always happen.
Here are a few beauty blunders that we all go through and hopefully a few tips to help you get that beauty fix this summer!
YOU woke up late with no time to shower. How many times has this happened to us? No shower means greasy hair and possibly not feeling refreshed. If this is the case grab a wet washcloth or baby wipes and do a quick wipe down. And when it comes to the hair dry shampoo…dry shampoo…dry shampoo. It not only will help with oily hair, but it will add volume and texture to your hair.
YOU ran out of shaving cream. How many times have you been mid shower and you HAVE TO shave your legs and armpits, but you ran out of shaving cream? And you don’t go outside with hairy legs! Sometimes using soap isn’t the best way. That’s why I use hair conditioner. It works just as well and it’s moisturizing.
YOU have dark underarms on a sleeveless shirt day. I will never forget the day my cousin called these dark armpit patches coffee stains. LOL! My advice…start using Dove’s Clear Tone Deodorant now. It’s made with calendula and sunflower seed extracts, which moisturizes to accelerate the natural skin renewal process. This helps to visibly reduce dark marks and even tone with regular use over time. You can also try exfoliating to remove what could be dead skin cells.
YOU fell asleep on the beach and got sunburned. Ugh! This sucks! Just because we’re Latina doesn’t mean you can’t get a sunburn. You can already see the redness coming, grab your favorite pain reliever and a bottle of after-sun gel with Aloe and slather it on! Wear loose fitting clothing and make sure you keep yourself cool and hydrated.
YOU cut your bangs too short. This would be a hair nightmare for me. You could just grab a barrette or bobby pin and stick them back. Orrrrr you can grab some clip-on bangs. There are some great ones out there that look like the real bangs you’ve always wanted.
Of course there my be more embarrassing things you’ll experience this summer, but these are ones that I may or may have not already experienced.
What’s your advice for any of the disasters above?
